The lady who served us was super friendly and made our lunch stop really enjoyable. We ordered the truffle burger and the pork belly congee and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I also had a Milo milkshake which is not on the menu. They kindly adjusted the thickshake to a milkshake since I did not want ice cream in it and it was no trouble at all. If you are in the area this place is worth a visit. And if you are an Asian girlie like me the congee is definitely a must have. The only thing I would say is that the eggs on toast felt a little on the pricier side compared to their other dishes, which were all great value.

Berry was busy today, all decked out in pink. We decided on lunch here, and ordered a Brekky Roll, a Cheese Burger, fries and drinks. My Cheese Burger was delicious but I had serious food envy as hubby's Brekky Roll was as perfect as a Brekky Roll can be! Couldn't swap cos he has a cold! Bought a sourdough to go. Edit: I also meant to add that I felt the care that went into the preparation of the meals. Bravo. Edit 2: Had lunch here today. The menu has expanded since our last visit, so I decided to try one of the specials — the congee — and it was fantastic. The congee was full of flavour, with a perfect balance of textures and elements. The richness of the mayak egg yolk, the crispiness of the enoki mushrooms, the kick from the chilli oil, and the freshness of the spring onion all came together beautifully. A near-perfect bowl of congee. Service was excellent once again, despite being very busy.

Lovely, modern cafe just off the beaten path in Berry. Heaps of people come to Berry, but I'll be honest, a lot of the food spots are still a bit stale. I was sad to see the Hungry Monkey (formerly in this spot) go, as it had been my default stop on the drive... but delighted about this new edition! Delicious modern food. Homemade sodas, fresh food, Australian vibe. Great coffee! Fun items for purchase, a bit of housewares, wine and foodie items. Great for gifts or a picnic. Indoor and outdoor seating. Upstairs, too. Toilets out the back in the courtyard. Main level is wheelchair accessible, it's just a tight squeeze through the door. Staff is delightfully accommodating and helpful. Free street parking. May have to hunt for a spot on a busy day, but no where near as busy as the main strip!

We were welcomed by a warmly lit courtyard and smiley staff. To follow was a bottle of red and delicious share plates. Make sure to stop here! It’s so cosy and always a vibe, even on a quiet evening in June. To top off the evening a ginger cat came to visit our table after dinner. Does it get any better?!
